RADIUM GIRLS is a spectral reminiscence of the historic “radium girls case” in which young American female workers were fatally contaminated by radioactivity due to the negligence of the factory hiring them.
UV lights, diodes, glow-in-the-dark snow are combined with close-ups of plastic artefacts of our globalized culture to create an eerie mood where bright colours and advertising aesthetics are diverted into an uncanny atmosphere.
